This work consists of making a risk analysis using as census data source the 2010 census, which was carried out under a new census unit through which it was possible to make more detailed analyzes: the court face, currently the smallest unit of census data collection used by IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics). With processes that used satellite image interpretation and combinations between different mappings to generate a new base that allowed the association between susceptibility sectors and census data (court face and census tracts), a new mapping of susceptibility sectors was generated with census data. This research was applied in the central area of the municipality of Angra dos Reis - RJ, a municipality that constantly coexists with hazards like mass movements, which can lead to disasters for local communities. The results of this research were satisfactory. The use of court faces allowed a greater detail of the risk analysis, especially in the components of risk like vulnerability and exposure, in places that previously had under the same census sector the values of these generalized components - since in the same census sector there could be houses of urban patterns better than others, changing the values of vulnerability and exposure of this sector.
